Wandering around an ancient village is a lot of fun, but can be quite sweaty business when it is 38 Celcius and you accidentally take everyone to the wrong direction! But thanks to a helpful local we finally found what we were looking for and had a great day here in Guangzhou.

Shawan Ancient Town 沙湾古镇, or also known as Shawan Old Village, is located in Panyu, Guangzhou. It’s free to visit, but temples require an entrance ticket.
